refactor(mosaic): share media sizes and radii between IconFrame and Avatar - #10600
IconFrame and Avatar each had their own list of sizes and corner radii, so an icon tile and an avatar could end up different sizes in the same row. Both now read from one shared list, and the brand icons inside the tiles are a little smaller so they stop looking heavy.
Change
Why
New shared sizes in src/styles/media-size.styles.ts: xs 24, sm 32, md 40, lg 48px, each with a corner radius
One place defines the box and corner, so icon tiles and avatars can't drift apart. The steps are an even 8px apart on the 4px grid.
Avatar takes its size and corner from the shared list and keeps only its font sizes. fit is unchanged
Removes the duplicate size table.
Avatarmd is 40px (was 38px)
Puts md on the same 24 / 32 / 40 / 48 steps as everything else. Affects <UserAvatar /> at its default size and the two md avatars in the switcher.
Square Avatar at md has a 6px corner (was 8px)
md and sm now share a 6px corner, which is also the corner icon tiles already had.
IconFrame sizes are xs, sm, md, lg and the default is md (was sm, md, lg, xl, default xl)
Matches Avatar's names and sizes. Nothing in the repo passed a size, so the old 28 / 32 / 36 variants were unused. The default tile stays 40px with a 6px corner, so it looks the same.
Provider icons in connected accounts, enterprise accounts and Web3 wallets are 16px (was 20px)
A 20px logo in a 40px tile looked too big next to the text. At 16px there is more space around it.
Swingset IconFrame story and docs list the new sizes
Keeps the docs in line with the code.
icon-frame.test.tsx expects data-size="md" by default
Follows the new default.
Things to know:
A size of xl (or the old sm, md, lg values) passed to IconFrame from outside this repo no longer means what it did. The data-size attribute on the frame is now md by default instead of xl.
Row layouts do not change. Item.Media and Section.Media stay at 40px, so rows with a profile picture, org logo or icon tile keep the same size and text position.
Only the icon and radius changes are visible: smaller brand logos, and the square md avatar corner.
Supplementary: a before and after of a connected-account row (image to be added below).

Walkthrough
The changes add shared size and radius styles for media components. Avatar and IconFrame use the shared sizing styles. IconFrame now supports xs, sm, md, and lg, with md as its default. Provider icon dimensions are reduced. The IconFrame test, stories, documentation, and a Mosaic changeset are updated.
This release can expose a breaking IconFrame API under a patch version and alter square switcher-avatar corners; correct both published issues before merging.

Publish this breaking IconFrame change as a minor release.
IconFrameProps is publicly exported, but the changeset currently declares a patch release even though it removes the supported xl value and changes the meanings and default of existing values. Consumers using size='xl' can fail TypeScript compilation, while consumers using existing values can receive different frame sizes. The README and changelog precedent place breaking Mosaic API changes in minor releases.

`IconFrame`, `Avatar` and `Item.Media` now share one size scale and set of corner radii. `IconFrame` sizes are now `xs`, `sm`, `md` and `lg` (24, 32, 38 and 48px) and the default is `md`, replacing `sm`, `md`, `lg` and `xl`. Icon frames and avatars in rows are 38px instead of 40px, square `Avatar` at `md` has a 6px radius instead of 8px, and provider icons in the connected accounts, enterprise accounts and Web3 wallets sections are 16px instead of 20px.

Update the release type for @clerk/mosaic in the changeset from patch to minor

Set the radius variable consumed by square RowAvatar rows.
Square membership and pending rows pass styles.rowAvatar to Avatar.Root, but that style still sets --_cl-avatar-radius. The changed square Avatar reads --_cl-media-radius, so these rows use the fit radius instead of the intended small radius.

Update the square `rowAvatar` style so it sets the `--_cl-media-radius` variable
consumed by `Avatar.Root` to the small radius, rather than setting the unused
avatar-radius variable.

hm, this is 40px as the label + description line-heights line up to 40px so when a description gets added in the connected accounts or web3 the content doesn't shift the 2px diff.

Hmmmm yeah, dang haha. I am reverting it back, but still getting everything on a shared sizing scale.
I thought it looked a little more balanced with the 38px icon frame... but it throws everything off so I am just going to leave it at 40.
I think I might still suggest going back to the 16px icons. I think I was the one that proposed 20, but the more I look at it, the 16 looks better to me.
