Impact
REQUIRED: Choose either Tooling Impact or Customer Impact (or both). At least one checkbox must be selected.
Tooling Impact
Moves the Store version placeholder into the English product description and updates Store publishing to replace it there or in legacy localized release notes. The changelog placeholder remains in release notes, preserving compatibility while localization propagates the new layout.
Customer Impact
Regression
REQUIRED: Check exactly one box.
This is not a regression.
Testing
The original PR reports successful parsing of all 14 PDP XML files, execution of the updated listing script against generated Store JSON containing both the new English and legacy localized layouts, and git diff --check. Reviewed backport commit 901848d: both changed files match the original diff. Cherry-pick completed without conflicts and the working tree is clean. Local tests were not rerun; backport CI must pass before merge.
Risk
REQUIRED: Check exactly one box.
Changes Store release metadata processing in the publishing pipeline. The change retains compatibility with existing translations that still place the version placeholder in release notes, while explicitly rejecting missing descriptions, release notes, or required placeholders.
