I'm uncertain whether or not the inclusion of "and contributors" is OK, but I'm pretty unfamiliar with the legal side of things in this space.

This is a great point. Ultimately I believe - but am not sure / not a lawyer - that contributors sign their copyright over to us in some form when they sign our CLA, but it is worth double checking with legal
