Come up with initial ideas #46

Coming up with initial ideas for fulfilling project's key technical objectives is the main goal of milestone M0.1. Those ideas will form the basis for the core principles that will guide the process of designing and implementing generic components within the framework. The overall vision for the framework was discussed in the post on implementation of distributed protocols.

This is an umbrella issue for the following individual objectives to focus on for the rest of the milestone:

• Come up with initial ideas for framework's modeling approach #47
• Come up with initial ideas for framework's structure and notations #50
• Come up with initial ideas for framework's verification methods #52
• Come up with initial ideas for framework's runtime and integration #54

The following important things should be also taken into account, but they are out of the primary focus for now (to be focused on later):

• Means for monitoring protocol execution, debugging, and measuring performance
• Approaches for fixing, optimizing, and extending protocol implementations
• Deployment and upgrading issues
