The GitHub Action jobs moved back to macos-15-intel which should work around this issue. So I suggest closing this PR. I already closed the associated issue. |

Sure. If needed, we can re-open when we upgrade the CI. Upstream haven't been able to investigate yet, as it requires new OS (macOS 26 Tahoe) on old hardware (Intel), which understandably isn't readily available. |

We're ready to upgrade the CI: #149991. And we get the tkinter timeout there. I'll re-open this and the issue first. |
