@paf31 @MonoidMusician I've removed the
Alternativeinstance for theSemiringversion for now, as it is a validPlusand it is a validApplicative, it's just the interaction doesn't result in anAlternative. Seems a little dodgy still, but perhaps better than nothing until we come up with an alternative formulation.
