Error: SSL is not supported by this copy of libgit2. #228
Description
I use Mac os x 10.10, and I have installed xcode command lines and libgit2(by brew);
when I run this clone example, I got such error.
if (error) throw error;
^
Error: SSL is not supported by this copy of libgit2.
can you help me?

We are currently on an old version of libgit2 that does not support SSH. We are working to update to the latest version now and you should be able to use that in the next release.

I have same issue using your library..
is the new version available in npm???

Not yet, no. The version bump is taking a bit longer than anticipated, but the scope is pretty large. You can follow the master branch to see the changes. Unfortunately, we won't be maintaining support for older versions. The old system made it fairly complicated to upgrade versions of libgit2, but with the stuff we're building now it should be much, much easier to update.
