I would rather say https://matplotlib.org/stable/gallery/ticks/date_formatters_locators.html#date-formatters is the reference on that topic. It may well be that we have some duplication and can remove the example; or rearrange in concert with other date tick examples. But reorganizing and tagging is for later. The purpose of this PR is only to bring it into the correct subgallery. |
