Pocket Aces

Fractional executives, extended by AI, accountable by name.

I'm John Brahy, founder of Pocket Aces LLC in Long Beach, CA.

Pocket Aces puts a senior executive in your pocket for a share of the week. Each ace leads the work, makes the decisions and answers for the result. AI agents handle the volume work under the ace's direction, and the ace reviews everything that ships. You get senior judgment and a small team's output without a full-time hire.

Pick the role you need

Ace What they do
CTO Architecture, engineering leadership and delivery
CAIO AI strategy, agent engineering and governance
Forward Deployed Engineer An engineer embedded in your team
CISO and security Security leadership and review
COO and operations Process, people and execution
CMO and growth Marketing and growth
Chief of Sales Pipeline and revenue
Quality assurance, IT, compliance and contracts Supporting roles

How it works

  1. We match you with an ace. Tell us the role and the hours, and we name the ace who fits.
  2. The ace leads. Your ace sets priorities, makes the decisions and is accountable for the result.
  3. Agents extend the ace. AI agents do the volume work under the ace's direction.
  4. You get a weekly report. A clear account of what shipped and what's next.

Engagements run at 20, 10 or 5 hours a week.
