Unfortunately we need some patches from time to time, so cleaner to have it as a submodule than expecting it as parallel project
Especially to get fix for ESP32 extmod bloat

NIR spectroscopy dataset (spectrofoods) dataset was initially failing. Turns out it needs to be standardized. And the scikit-learn PLSR models do this internally - so we support them same thing here.
