I decided to convert some of the notebook content to Wiki so I can have true code/notebook/experimentation seperate from splash pages etc.

Doug's Machine Learning Notebooks

I'm new to machine learning - having gotten a bit interested in Jan or Feb 2018, and then dove in sometime after Ski Season in March/April. It has been a great journey -- the perfect mix of my love of technology, hardware, software, math, and experimentation. I started with Andrew Ng's coursera free course and have been putting up example exercises and analysis on here.

  • Linear Regression
  • Logistical Regression
  • Feature Engineering
  • Evaluating Google TensorFlow

Next planned sections:

  • GPU vs CPU vs TPU evaluation
  • Experience with PyTorch
  • Experience with Amazon's Sage Maker
  • Experience with Microsoft ML Studio
  • Experience with h2o.ai
  • Real world problems to solve / experiement with

Other key things I have been reading/watching:

  • Lectures from folks like Ian Goodfellow and other Conference speakers
  • Coursera's deeplearning.ai series (Andrew Ng's next courses)
  • Various blogs on Medium and following some of the famous folks on Twitter like Jeff Dean
  • Listening to Data Skeptic and ThisWeekInMachineLearningAndAI(TwimlAI) podcasts
  • Random Youtube views not excluding Siraj Raval

Things I haven't done, but am considering:

  • Getting on Kaggle for a competition
  • Starting a Blog
