I was having trouble figuring out what Visual Studio error C3779 meant until I found this blog post by Raymond Chen: https://devblogs.microsoft.com/oldnewthing/20190530-00/?p=102529. It was basically the only source I could find that succinctly and clearly described what the error means and how to fix it. I was able to quickly resolve my issues afterwards. I think that other developers would come across this docs page first to figure out C3779, so I think it would be very helpful to link this blog post.
