Code Review

The pull request adds a .vscode/extensions.json file to recommend the charliermarsh.ruff extension for the workspace. This is a good addition to help developers get started with the project quickly and ensure consistent code style. I've suggested adding a description for the extension recommendation and maintaining an alphabetized list of extensions.
