  • Added tagging system with auto coloring.
  • Option to silently autoupdate mods.

What missed:

  • code quality. All code AI-generated with very small adjustments
  • extensive testing (eg, color priority with different settings, tags, custom coloring and warns/errors)
  • tag content sanitation
  • control over global tag list (used in filters and assigning shortcuts)
  • reasonable settings organization (main flag in advanced, colors in aux db, probably isnt hidden if disabled)

Final thoughts: it works well enough to fulfil my needs. Im not sure that showing tags in title is a good way, but with all these icons, mod list is overloaded. Also i'd like to have a tag panel to assign tags faster without all this context menu clicking.

I dont think that i will polish this branch to be releasable, but i want to share it, probably as a donor ffor future tagging functionality.

I came here to see if RimSort accepts feature request submissions, but I was curious what PRs were outstanding, and saw that this is exactly what I was going to request.

I'm glad that RimSort implemented color-coding as RimPy had, as I used to use that to track some things about mods (ie, mods for tribal runs only, mods with performance issues, etc), but a tagging system is a much more robust solution to that problem. I'd love to see something like this get implemented!

All help is appreciated if you want you can resolve the conflicts and improve it and create a new PR or fix the current one
