Explanation

Adds an optional serviceProfile option to searchTokens (SearchTokenOptions). When set, the /tokens/search request includes the header x-mm-service-profile: <value>. Behavior is unchanged when unset. Mobile will pass assets--trending-search.

Jira: ASSETS-4243

Testing

  • Added tests for header present / absent.
  • yarn workspace @metamask/assets-controllers run test passes; changelog validates; oxlint/oxfmt clean.

Note

Low Risk
Small, backward-compatible extension to token search HTTP options with no change to default behavior.

Overview
Adds an optional serviceProfile field on searchTokens options so callers can tag /tokens/search requests with the x-mm-service-profile header (e.g. mobile’s assets--trending-search). When the option is omitted, the request is unchanged and the header is not sent.

Unit tests assert the header is present only when serviceProfile is set; the changelog documents the new option.
