Summary

  • Adds Indonesia's three official IANA timezones to the Timezone setting's curated "Common" list (CURATED_ZONES in src/settings.ts), each labelled with its familiar regional abbreviation:
    • Asia/Jakarta — Jakarta (WIB), UTC+7
    • Asia/Makassar — Makassar (WITA), UTC+8
    • Asia/Jayapura — Jayapura (WIT), UTC+9
  • Placed in the list's existing west→east offset ordering, alongside the other zones sharing the same UTC offset (Bangkok / Shanghai-Hong Kong-Singapore / Tokyo-Seoul).
  • Every UTC offset was already technically selectable via the generic "UTC offset" group, but Indonesia had no named/recognisable entry in the "Common" cities list — this just makes it easy to find, consistent with how every other zone in that list works (real IANA identifier + live-computed UTC offset label).
  • No other wiring needed: TIMEZONE_VALUES / TIMEZONE_LABELS / TIMEZONE_GROUPS all derive automatically from CURATED_ZONES.

Test plan

  • npm test — 114/114 pass; src/test/i18nTimezone.test.ts validates zone handling generically (Intl-based) and needed no changes.
  • npm run compile clean.
  • Verified live UTC offsets in Node: Asia/Jakarta → GMT+07:00, Asia/Makassar → GMT+08:00, Asia/Jayapura → GMT+09:00.
  • Manual: F5 the Extension Development Host, open the dashboard's Timezone dropdown, confirm "Jakarta (WIB)", "Makassar (WITA)", "Jayapura (WIT)" appear under "Common" with the correct offset, and selecting one shifts displayed dates/times correctly.

The Timezone setting's curated "Common" list had no Indonesian
entries, even though every UTC offset was already technically
selectable via the generic UTC-offset group. Add the three official
IANA zones as named, recognisable cities: Asia/Jakarta (WIB, UTC+7),
Asia/Makassar (WITA, UTC+8), and Asia/Jayapura (WIT, UTC+9), each
placed in the list's existing west-to-east offset ordering.

Thanks for the contribution. The Test workflow has now been approved and passes. This is a feature change, so it will not be merged before the V2.2.1 stability release; doing so would broaden the patch release and change the Release Drafter version category.

I am keeping the PR open for the next feature cycle. Please wait until V2.2.1 is published before rebasing onto main; we will then resolve any overlap with the new repository guidance and provider-foundation work during review.

Thank you — these Indonesian timezone presets are a useful contribution and this original PR will stay open.

v2.2.1 is now frozen as a patch release. Because this is a user-facing feature, it will be completed in the next feature cycle rather than expanding the patch at the last moment. Immediately after v2.2.1 is published, we will rebase/update this original branch as needed and merge through this PR so the contribution remains fully attributed.
