Over the last 20 years I’ve lost weight using Weight Watchers principles a few different times. When I was going to Weight Watchers there was no such thing as an “App” for anything. We went to the meetings, weighed in once a week, and together lost weight and learned to change what we eat. It worked! Unfortunately the three times I reached my goal I eventually lost track and gained the weight back. This has happened once again until recently I decided enough was enough and the first thing that came to mind was how successful I was at Weight Watchers. As I began to look into signing up again it became apparent there was this Weight Watchers App that I could join instead of going to in person meetings, and what with the pandemic still an issue, I decided to give the app a try, so I signed up for it, and downloaded it. I have been using the app for about a week and a half, and find the App to be amazing! There are so many things wrapped upInto the Weight Watchers App I am already becoming very successful with over 5 pounds of weight lost on my goal to lose 60 pounds. The app is extremely user friendly in every way! There is even a scanner that scans to food label and you can find out how many points each food item is. There is a tremendous amount of social media related groups as well where I find fantastic support, recipes, and encouragement! For the price of using the app it is a steal! Truly remarkable!
The perfect tool for mindful eating

One of the biggest challenges, especially in a social environment where everything revolves around food, is paying attention in a way that keeps us healthy. I had been sick for a year and put on the weight I promised myself I never would again. The last thing I wanted was do do some diet again that took hours of my time planning weekly and sometimes daily to feel deprived and frustrated. A friend and long time WW user had talked about many times and how she swore by it. I had forever steered away from it simply because of the name and how it connected to my insecurities. I felt a bit desperate and she is someone I trust. I gave it a shot. I have lost all the weight I intended and then some. I don’t know I believed Id ever get to my actual goal again and yet, here I am 3 pounds away. I feel better, I never feel deprived- I just make choices. I never considered it would become a lifestyle and not a diet. But it has and I don’t think Ill ever not use it. My life is too busy, it simply makes me stop and think, “do you want that ice cream Saturday? Then maybe no pizza, okay.” Thats it. Its not a fast pass, but its a healthy and very livable one to meet goals and still live without constantly being reminded, “I can’t”. Instead it’s, “I can, just not this week”. Also, because steps and exercise are inclusive if I track, its been the perfect motivation to ensure I make those 10k steps and anything else - adding to my health and self care. Get a fit bit! You won’t regret it.

I don’t think I could make it without this app. The old way we had to write everything down this way the app keeps track of it for you. Love the barcode I know how many points something else before we even purchase it. I also love being able to put chain restaurants in and seeing how many points everything is before we go out to eat. Thanks again I really appreciate it and as we all now getting it off as a battle And keeping it off is the war! I am a lifetime member and sure appreciate this app. An update on my previous review. Letting you pick each product for each meal before you go back to the main screen helps a lot it’s like you get one wholemeal picked before you have to go back that makes a big difference. Weight Watchers never stops amazing me at the effort they put forth to help you lose weight thank you so much. I keep adding onto this and one thing I really really like now is looking up different restaurants and finding out what I can eat before I go out for dinner that is a big help. The app just gets better and better you can now go back-and-forth and pick your meal without getting all the way out of your lunch menu I don’t believe I could’ve made it without this app that tells me everything and I can still use the barcode finder in the stores for things that I’m not sure if I really truly enjoy it and I believe it is a big help for anyone watching their weight

I feeel like I’ve tried just about every weight loss program there is - and they are temporary fixes because I can’t live on a permanent lifetime basis with them. WW is not fad dieting. It’s a holistic approach that comes from all angles, helping me develop a program that not only has me losing weight, but also developing good health all around - bringing in exercise, emotional health, sleep, and the many other things which contribute to a healthy eating and living lifestyle. I’m even rewarded for healthy things that I do aside from just eating well. I believe it’s the only responsable eating program out there. Fad diets DON’T WORK as a permanent lifestyle for me. On WW I can eat what I want. Whatever I want. I’m not required to eliminate anything. It’s a program that literally lets me eat as much as I want of a LOT of foods, and then everything else I just have to watch my portions on. I NEVER have felt like I’m dieting with WW. I feel like I’m on an eating program I can easily maintain for the rest of my life. WW Rocks!! Now, the only problem I’ve had with the WW app is that it can’t be used offline. I’m a flight attendant and I need to be able to track points and look up foods offline. I also cruise multiple times a year and especially need to have the app work offline without paying exorbitant travel wifi costs. PLEASE FIX THIS. I don’t care how much space it would require to download, and I’m willing to pay a one-time fee to have the ability to search food and track offline.
