Admin login issues on SC-300 Labs
hi, I recently took SC-300 test at a PearsonVue branch. I had 10 Labs questions to be completed after signing in with a described admin id and password. The problem was that it kept asking me to get through MFA with Microsoft Authenticator app. How could I use the app when I am not supposed to keep my mobile with me during the test, and there was no guidance in the test description about how to handle this issue. I had to waste quite a time and somehow the problem was solved, only then I could start to work on my test questions. Unfortunately, I did not have enough time and failed the exam. It made me think about how learning systems sometimes behave like a Letter Boxed style problem where you have many valid inputs (modules, discussions, certifications, practice labs) but it is not always clear how to efficiently connect them into a coherent learning path without missing gaps or duplicating effort. For example: Some topics are covered in certification paths Others are discussed in community posts or announcements And some practical guidance is scattered across threads or learning rooms This leads me to a few questions: How do you personally structure your learning journey across Microsoft Learn and community resources? Do you follow a strict certification path first, or mix learning with community discussions? Is there any recommended way to avoid fragmented learning signals and build a more linear progression? AI‑102 certification page shows deprecated learning paths without clear guidance
Hi everyone, I’m preparing for the Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI‑102) certification and noticed some usability confusion on the official certification page. Under “Prepare for the exam”, several learning paths are marked as “deprecated”, but there’s no clear explanation of what has changed, which learning path should now be followed, or how this maps to the current exam structure. For new learners, this makes it difficult to know which content is recommended versus legacy. Additionally, the certification landing page itself doesn’t appear to provide a visible feedback mechanism, which makes reporting this kind of UX issue challenging. It would help a lot if the page included a short explanation, a before/after timeline, or grouped deprecated content under a clearly labeled “Legacy” section. Hi everyone This might sound a little unusual but I have recently been playing a word puzzle called Letter Boxed and it made me think about how we approach learning technical skills. The game challenges you to connect letters strategically use constraints creatively, and solve the puzzle in as few steps as possible. It reminded me a lot of working through cloud labs or automation exercises especially when learning tools like Azure scripting or infrastructure concepts. You have limited inputs and the key is understanding patterns and thinking ahead. I have noticed that strengthening logical thinking through small daily challenges even word games helps with debugging architecture planning and breaking down complex problems. Hi Team, I have been an extensive user of Microsoft Teams and the broader Microsoft ecosystem for a significant period, and I genuinely appreciate the continuous innovation that enhances modern collaboration. From my experience in IT, especially while working with cross-functional stakeholders, I find the meeting recording and automated summary features extremely valuable. However, I would like to propose an enhancement based on real-world challenges. In meetings where both technical and non-technical stakeholders are present, discussions often become highly technical, making it difficult for business participants to fully understand. This can lead to reduced engagement and misalignment. Suggested Enhancement: It would be highly beneficial if Microsoft Teams could generate two types of meeting summaries: Technical Summary: Detailed and suitable for engineering teams Business Summary: Simplified and easy to understand for non-technical stakeholders Example: Technical: We are integrating multiple third-party APIs. Simplified: Think of it like an airport control tower. Different airlines operate independently, but the control tower coordinates everything to ensure smooth operations. Our system is improving that coordination to make things faster and more reliable. Technical: We optimized the rendering pipeline. Simplified: We improved the application speed, reducing wait time from several seconds to almost instant. Why this matters: Improves understanding across teams Enhances decision-making Reduces communication gaps Makes collaboration more effective I believe this feature would significantly enhance Microsoft Teams and create a more inclusive experience for all stakeholders. Hello, On my journey to MCT, I found useful some great online videos from cloudguides.com, and I am sharing with my colleagues or participants lots of those, For example, recently I discover this , about Network securiy, https://mslearn.cloudguides.com/guides/Azure%20network%20security this one about AZ-104 most common tasks, https://www.cloudguides.com/guides/Manage%20Microsoft%20Entra%20ID%20identities and I think there are many more .... last year I used many of Interactive LAB guides for AZ-800 or AZ-801 if I recall, which were GREAT becasue they have the ability to "emulate" to new students how to react on specific azoure resources or configuration menus in azure portal ! But my problem is that there is no list of all AVAILABLE interactive guides, in order to see them and choose specific ones that I am interested to ? Does anyone have a solution on that ? Any link or resource with a list of all available interactive guides on the cloudguides.com site ? (I have no idea if this is an affiliate with MS, or similar training service partner) Many thanks PanosPlease clarify the numbering system in Microsoft exams
I am trying to make sense of exam numbers in Microsoft Certification poster. https://arch-center.azureedge.net/Credentials/Certification-Poster_en-us.pdf. For example I notice most azure exam numbers start with 1xx. That gives me the impression that 1xx could be related to Infrastructure. But I am not sure if that is the correct understanding. For example all fundamental exams are numbered 9xx. So are exams numbered differently in role based certifications? What is the numbering pattern and practice in role based certifications? Again one might assume that all architect exams may have the same number pattern but they don’t. Some patterns emerge when it comes to Windows certification - 8xx. Collaboration and communication - 7xx except MB 700. So it appears even under role based certifications the numbering pattern may be different depending on the technology or platform or product. I have not found any authoritative material on the internet form anyone in Microsoft or an MVP on this topic.
