WatchGod's last release was in April 1st 2022 (https://pypi.org/project/watchgod/).
The repository was renamed to WatchFIles, and a new package with that name was created there - which we support as one of the reload classes here in Uvicorn.
After more than 2 years and a half being deprecated, I think it's time to say goodbye.
