Last afternoon I sat down with a coffee and read Randstad Hellas’s brand-new 𝗛𝗥 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 report end-to-end. The numbers confirm what many of us in the trenches suspected: 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝘂𝗽. In pure software, junior developers now sign on around €1.8-2.8 k gross per month (14 salaries); mids move into the €2.8-3.4 k band, seniors climb to €3.5-4.7 k, and team leads clear €4.7-5.3 k. Step into management and you see €5.2-7 k for engineering managers, with CTO packages starting at €7 k and reaching €15 k. DevOps and Data/ML engineers sit in roughly the €2.8-4.3 k corridor, while mobile developers (hello fellow iOS devs 👋) hover between €2.5-4.2 k. On the industrial side, classic automation or electrical engineers still open at €1.8-2.8 k, but robotics & automation managers are already on €3-4.5 k, and engineering directors or plant managers push €5-7 k. The energy sector is even hotter: grid engineers see €3.3-4.2 k, offshore engineers €3.5-4.5 k, and technical managers break €4-5 k. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘁? 𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝟭-𝟭𝟬 % 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱—and none forecast cuts—and “software developer / engineer” is now the #2 most-in-demand role nationwide. 𝗔𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗢𝗦 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 (and negotiating my own offers), 𝗜 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗼𝗳-𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲-𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱. “So far, Archeiothiki’s digital solutions have extracted data from more than 1 billion pages, supporting over 400 organizations across all sectors in Greece.” 🗣️ In an interview with Banks.com.gr, Vangelis Karelis, MBA, CTIO at ARCHEIOTHIKI SA, discussed the continuous evolution of the company’s digital solutions, highlighting its “wise pivot” to AI-powered innovation. As Karelis explained, the company started investing in AI six years ago, identifying the immense volume of valuable—but hard-to-process—information locked within unstructured content. “The question was clear: can AI automatically process this information, saving thousands of work hours while maximizing accuracy and speed?
