Hello, I’m new to the project and looking forward to contributing.
I noticed that there are currently no automated security checks in place, and I’d like to suggest adding OpenSSF Scorecard to help assess and improve the project’s security.

The integration can be non-blocking and primarily informational, and I believe it would reflect positively on the repository. I’d be happy to take care of the implementation if this sounds reasonable.
