The amount of spammy new issues and comments in issues has reached a level that is putting collaboration in its entirety at risk.
The problem is not limited to the schema.org repository (others are facing similar problems), but we cannot wait for Github to offer a solution.

For the moment, I see no other way than to disable notifications from this repository, which basically blocks effective collaboration.
