I get red warning from linter even if I have 0 issues found #739

Closed

Description

@skamsie
:call pymode#lint#check()
[Pymode] Found errors and warnings: 0

It's not a big deal, since it says that it did not find any problems, but I have lint on save enabled, and the message being red it makes me check every-time.

if loclist.is_empty()

It looks like the message should be different when no errors are found

    @kevinkjt2000

    Doesn't there need to be a return or an else wrapped around the rest of the block to keep if from executing?

    I am not calling this function directly. It is triggered by default when saving the file.

    @kevinkjt2000

    I was just suggesting a fix to the function, not a fix for how it is invoked. Apologies for any misunderstanding.

    This bot is doing better than the plugin by pointing out only problems that exist 😄

    Let's see if we can put the project on track again. I'll comment on the related PR. ;)
