A typed Java client for the Prometheus querying API, the counterpart of
client_golang/api/prometheus/v1, as proposed in #2306. Java 8, no new
runtime dependencies: built-in HttpURLConnection plus an internal JSON
parser, depending only on prometheus-metrics-model, mirroring the
approach of prometheus-metrics-exporter-pushgateway.

Covers query, query_range, series, labels, label values, metadata,
exemplars, targets, rules, alerts, alertmanagers, the status endpoints,
format_query, and the TSDB admin endpoints, with native histogram
support. Includes unit tests against recorded fixtures from Prometheus,
VictoriaMetrics, Mimir, Cortex, and Thanos, wire-level tests, and a
testcontainers integration-test module, plus documentation and BOM
registration.
