oreillyross/README.md

hey, I'm Ross 👋

I build agentic AI SaaS applications in TypeScript. Full-stack solopreneur shipping MVPs iteratively—spec-driven development, not over-planning.

what I am working on

🎯 Horizon Lite — Geopolitical signal tracking + content curation. Tracking how AI reshapes international relations in real-time.

🥫 Pantry Management — Vision-powered expiry date OCR + ingredient identification. Cloudinary + Claude API pipeline for visual understanding at scale.

(Verity is brewing in the background.)

My stack

Frontend: React + Vite, shadcn/ui, Tailwind
Backend: Express, tRPC, PostgreSQL via Drizzle ORM
AI/ML: Claude API (vision, text), agentic patterns, prompt engineering
Infrastructure: TypeScript everywhere (one language, full-stack velocity)

what I treat as a collaborative coworker

  • Claude — iterative development partner, architectural brainstorming, code review
  • Agentic systems — building the "harness engineering" layer as differentiation

I follow the AI space closely—AINews (Latent Space), The Neuron, TLDR—and I'm studying agentic patterns through Matt Pocock and Jack Herrington content on youtube.

let's talk about

Agentic AI architecture, full-stack TypeScript SaaS, iterative MVP workflows, prompt engineering, vision APIs, geopolitical intelligence, or why your pantry app needs AI.

🔗 Always shipping. Sometimes sleeping. Never over-planning.
