question: how cvv8 is used?

I've been studying nodegit code and found cvv8 in vendor folder, but I couldn't find how cvv8 is used in this project.

I tried to read V8Convert, but found it very difficult.

Please kindly share related information.

i spent couple of hours reading the code, now i'm convinced the cvv8 and naturaldocs are no longer used for nodegit, please correct me if i'm wrong.

it occurs to me there's some tool to generate v0.18.0.json, and then gen.js will generate actual header/source files according to ejs templates.

now the question is, which tool generates v0.18.0.json?

i believe parsing libgit2 api docurium can generate json file, closing this question.
