I have been trying to install ldnode on Ubuntu 14.04. Unfortunately, I ended up deleting GNU core-utils, so my plan is to start over with Ubuntu 15.04 and compile npm and node from source. The trouble seems to stem from the modules contextify and node-gyp. I e-mailed the some output that I encountered to deiu since I was unable to attach it here.
