What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
trying to do:
import scalacl._
import scala.math._
object Test {
def main(args: Array[String]): Unit = {
implicit val context = Context.best // prefer CPUs ? use Context.best(CPU)
val rng = (100 until 101).cl // transform the Range into a CLIntRange
// ops done asynchronously on the GPU (except synchronous sum) :
val sum = rng.map(_ * 2).zipWithIndex.map(p => p._1 * p._2).sum
println("sum = " + sum)
}
}
alas getting: http://pastebin.com/GVhkHFxN <-- strange output at runtime followed by jvm exit (Nonzero exit code: 1)
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
scalac Beta-11, scala 2.8.1, sbt 0.7.4
archlinux 64bit
Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2,5Ghz
Nvidia 9600 GT
sbt config seems to run fine:
import sbt._
class ScalaCLTest(info: ProjectInfo) extends DefaultProject(info)
{
val nativelibs4javaRepo = "NativeLibs4Java Repository" at "http://nativelibs4java.sourceforge.net/maven/"
val dep = "com.nativelibs4java" % "scalacl" % "0.2.Beta11"
}

Thanks a lot for you report.
BridJ just had some breaking changes and ScalaCL's beta version depends on the SNAPSHOT version, which I'm afraid is bad practice :-S
I'll upload a new beta ASAP...
Cheers

Sorry for the delay (long weekend abroad).
This should now be fixed in the new 0.2.Beta12 version (available on Maven and sbt).
Please let me know if you face more issues.
Cheers

Hehe, interesting... The Apache Velocity POM is indeed inconsistent...
By any chance : are you using Apache Maven 3.0 ? (does stricter checks than 2.x and is not widely used yet)

um, i don't know, I just use sbt and according to http://code.google.com/p/simple-build-tool/wiki/LibraryManagement (comments below) it uses ivy (whatever that is) not maven directly
