<p>Sometimes we collect data <code class="docutils literal notranslate"><span class="pre">z</span></code> at coordinates <code class="docutils literal notranslate"><span class="pre">(x,y)</span></code> and want to visualize
as a contour. Instead of gridding the data and then using
<a class="reference internal" href="../api/_as_gen/matplotlib.axes.Axes.contour.html#matplotlib.axes.Axes.contour" title="matplotlib.axes.Axes.contour"><code class="xref py py-obj docutils literal notranslate"><span class="pre">contour</span></code></a>, we can use a triangulation algorithm and fill the
triangles.</p>
