Summary:
Reports the number of colors the screen can display.

Example:
set the label of button "Color Mode" to the bufferMode
Value:
The <bufferMode> <property> reports "millions" (for 32-bit or 24-bit
color), "thousands" (for 16-bit color), or the number of colors. This
property is read-only and cannot be set.
Description:
Use the <bufferMode> <property> to determine the color capacity of the
screen. For example, you might display different <image|images>
depending on the number of colors available.
If the system has more than one monitor, the <bufferMode> <property>
reports the number of colors displayed on the main screen.
The value reported by the <bufferMode> <property> is updated only when
you start up the <application>. If you change the screen settings after
starting up the <application>, you must quit and restart to update the
<bufferMode>.
