Description

I am inquiring because half a year ago, this issue was confirmed by multiple people. A workaround was pasted, but that is nothing more than that - just a workaround. After being stuck for 3 days working on my app trying out different things to fix this issue (I thought it was related to wrongly configured oauth / strict iOS guidelines), I finally stumbled upon this closed issue - that was closed, unfixed, without any explanation. The last comment is about someone trying to fix it.

I would like to reopen the discussion on this - is there a reason this will not be fixed? it is definitely unexpected behavior and I can imagine I am not the only one running into this trap.
