Without this fix, attempting to serialize or deserizlize a List of nullable AnyValue would produce this exception: ``` java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: The AnyValueSerializer class cannot actually be used; it is merely a sentinel that gets special treatment during Data Connect serialization ```
