Today i work mainly around mobile applications.
The sponsorship allow me to spend more time on those applications and on Nativescript and its plugins. My main job is to develop applications for clients. The time i spend on Open Source is time i don't invest for clients, and thus money i don't earn. Sponsorship allows me to give more time to Open Source while making sure my family still gets enough to live.
I maintain multiple Open Source applications
I also work on Nativescript which i use to develop those applications Here is a little list of some of the projects i maintain:
- @nativescript-community/ui-collectionview: CollectionView Plugin
- @nativescript-community/ui-label: Full label replacement with a tons of options!
- @nativescript-community/ui-material-components: Big plugin to fully "materialize" your app!
- @nativescript-community/ui-image: Image Plugin
- @nativescript-community/ui-chart: Chart Plugin
- @nativescript-community/ui-canvas: Canvas Plugin
- @nativescript-community/ui-carto: Component for Carto Mobile SDK
- @nativescript-community/sentry: Plugin for Sentry support
- @nativescript-community/https: Plugin to replace N http with a lot of features
- @nativescript-community/gesturehandler: Plugin better gesture handlers

- @nativescript-community//ui-barcodeview: Barcode View Plugin
If you want to help me maintaining those projects there are different ways:
A collective has been created to help fund some of the apps i maitained like OSS DocumentScanner, OSS CardWallet, OSS Weather (more to come). The idea of the collective for now is to help fund the needed hardware like testing devices or a new MacBook (i am on Intel and soon i won't be able to publish apps anymore).
If you want to help you can donate so that i can spend more time doing open source work!
