  1. Modernize landing page: single static no-JS page 

    Replace the 2014 Jekyll/Bootstrap-3 template with a self-contained, responsive,
no-JS index.html (inline CSS, single request, dark/light aware). Preserves the
existing content: bio, social links (email/GitHub/resume), experience
(Expedia/Compare the Market/Guvera/SciPro), and the Position Calculator link.
.nojekyll added so it serves as a plain static file (no build step).

  (Brisbane); earlier roles retained below.
- Lightweight inline-SVG graphics: per-role monogram badges + social icons.
  No raster images, no external requests — single fast file.
