Align mmap boundary regression with Python 3.14.8

Include the matching upstream GH-158027 test-data correction: use an integer RHS so the unchanged IndexError assertion checks index bounds after conversion. Preserve the runtime assignment and storage guards. Assisted-by: OpenAI Codex:model identifier unavailable
