# AsyncBase::ErrorCode Method
Retrieves the error code for the current asynchronous operation.  
  
## Syntax  
  
```  
inline void ErrorCode(  
   HRESULT *error  
);  
```  
  
#### Parameters  
 `error`  
 The location where this operation stores the current error code.  
  
## Remarks  
 This operation is thread-safe.
