There are also various scheduling apps which can control apps with CLI (like BetterDisplay or Lunar). But I think Lunar by @alin23 has a very specific function for day/night cycle brightness. I don't think the scope of MonitorControl (as a simple app) should be expanded with further features like this - as many precisely choose MonitorControl because of lack of complexity (compared to BetterDisplay for example). :) |

It would be great to have two or more presets for night and Day.
At night I like to dim the displays but in the morning I put them back up to full

Ideally two buttons that can be activated via keyboard shortcuts for Day and Night
Even better each presset can be activated automatically at a given time of the day.
