Calls the `AddRef` member function of `IUnknown` on the encapsulated interface pointer.

## Syntax

```cpp
void AddRef( );
```

## Remarks

Calls `IUnknown::AddRef` on the encapsulated interface pointer, raising an `E_POINTER` error if the pointer is NULL.
