Translucent depth sorting breaks mod overhead text UI #3740

Bug Description

When using Photon 1.3b shader pack, floating text UI from mods like L2Hostility fails to render properly:
By default, all text inside entity head textboxes completely disappears.
If I enable the Dither Translucent Fallback option under Shader Settings → Misc, the text itself becomes visible again, but the background textboxes vanish entirely.
Even after enabling this fallback, depth sorting issues still occur between floating mod text and distant terrain (mountains, water, trees, clouds): distant geometry such as clouds will render in front of the floating text, blocking the text view.
I’ve tested multiple shader packs; only Photon manages to render the text partially functional. I suspect this issue is caused by either Sodium or Iris Shaders.
