Apple Intelligence - English UK

Hopefully, some knowledgeable person will be able to shed some light on this. I have an iPhone 16 Pro, but to use Apple Intelligence and some of the accessibility functions (such as Listen for Atypical Speech in the Siri section of the accessibility menu), I have to use English - US as opposed to English - UK, which I would prefer as I am in the UK. I did read somewhere that this should be available, but if I change the language settings, it all disappears. Any idea when this will work in the UK?

Not all Apple Intelligence features are available in all languages. This Apple Support page lists individual feature availability by language:

iOS and iPadOS 26 - Feature Availability - Apple (UK)

As such, as to when a specific Apple Intelligence feature will be available, we are limited to information that has been publicly announced.

Apple does invite submission of constructive comments and feature requests via its Product Feedback portal. If you would lime to see a particular feature or function being made available in a future version of iOS/iPadOS, this would be the most appropriate channel through which to make a request:
