I really like this app. Has tons of good novelas for free. Lots of reviews are saying there’s too much ads but i don’t mind them they’re not too long and I understand there has to be ads for it to be free. The problem with this app is that there’s no search bar to search for the novelas or movies you want to watch or are watching. You have to look through all the sections to find them instead of searching. Another problem you should be able to have a watch list where you add what show you are watching or want to watch, i’m currently watching a novela and would like to be able to get to it through a list, I know you’re able to do that with movies but with shows you are only able to add episodes to a watch list not the whole show itself. There is also a continue watch section where something you’ve started appears where you left off, my only problem with this is that when watching an episode to a show and you play it from continue watching you are not able to get to the next episode through there, you have to exit and find the show and play the next episode yourself, it would be better is the next episode played on its own. Also i’ve been having a problem that when you play something from the continue watching and the next time you get and ad it doesn’t continue from the place it’s supposed to after the ad it starts to continue from the place it left at when you started it from the continue watching.

Loving it so far but hoping for a couple minor updates

I was really saddened to see Pantaya go, but I am glad that it was folded into VIX. I appreciate that I can finally have one platform for all of my favorite Spanish language apps and the selection is great. I am hoping that they might make a few updates. First, the ability to create a queue/watchlist like other streaming platforms have would be great. The second, though not a deal breaker, is offering subtitles/captions in English. I grew up a receptive bilingual, meaning that I can understand, reads and even write in Spanish, but speaking it has been a much harder journey. Watching movies and television with subtitles has been proven to be incredibly helpful for language acquisition. It would be great for anyone interested in learning or trying to reclaim Spanish (or likewise, Spanish speakers hoping to practice English). Again, not a deal breaker, but definitely a wishlist item for the future.

I started to watch interesting shows on this app. The more I watch the more I got frustrated!! I kept watching until the show was finished. This app does have a great line up. They just won’t fix the glitches. Beginning of the year, I sent an email I explained the situation they asked me to send them a ridiculous amount of information. They should clearly know how the app works since they developed it. It wasn’t worth my time or money, so I canceled subscription because it was just too annoying to go back-and-forth to where you left off. Even when you pause it, all of a sudden it takes you right back to the beginning, you’re at the end of a good show, the last thing you want to do is keep going back. I added in the email that I found it hard to believe that they had not heard of all the glitches. The response was (just like all of these reviews are getting) Thank you for your feedback. We will resolve the issue.So I decided to give it a second chance, even though I was very disappointed. I saw two series that I was very interested in, but after those two shows…..I was done. I sent them an email letting them know that the glitches are still there and possibly even worse , once again, they said thank you for the feedback. We’ll work on it, yada,yada,yada…it will never be fixed. IT is not worth it for me, will never have this appt again. I have other streaming platforms that I enjoy. I don’t need this one at all. Maybe they should consult with other developers as to how create another app with no glitches, like the apps they developed.

Playing episodes one after the other is not an option unless you continuously are watching. Pausing the episode and going back to the main menu causes this and have to go back to the episode guide to pick the next episode, once there takes forever to get further down the episode guide, search bar would be appreciated. Once I pick an episode it plays automatically and gives a couple seconds before it starts. Episodes do not save, I start watching on firetv and resume on my phone and have to go and search for the episode again and try to figure out where I left watching it.There is a lot of commercials and I completely understand for them, but man they are excessive, for a free streaming app there shouldn’t be so much adds, in one add break there are from 5 to 7 adds, I start watching again from a break and in less than two minutes commercial break again or sometimes it can be less than a minute and back to commercials. On other free apps they have about three breaks in between with more to show/movie to watch. Again I get the ads, but i feel I watch more ads than the actual show I’m watching..
