I love this game. I haven’t played a game on my iPhone in years. I love the variety of cars, the addictive nature of the game, the detailed stats, and the fact that it’s perfect for on-the-go. This is the perfect introduction to card-based games, since I’m a car enthusiast. I love it. An excellent idea for a game. But there are a few areas where the game could be improved. The first area is the general programming. The game runs great, but every now and then I will cross the finish line first (win) by a landslide and I will still lose. On Germany 2 I used my BMW 330d against a Mercedes 190E Evolution and I was far ahead until the end and I crossed the line first, yet I still lost somehow. Second, while this game has an unbelievable amount of cars, there are some gaping holes in the manufacturer lineup. There are no cars from FCA (Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep etc). This could be a licensing problem but I still look at it as a flaw. I would love to see more brands enter the game potentially in a future update. One more flaw (Not really a flaw, but something I think could be added) is local/online multiplayer. This would be great. There could be a time limit for choosing cards. A couple more VERY minor complaints; the details and stats are microscopic during races, and I have to look closely to see vital information. I have an iPhone 8 Plus, I couldn’t imagine playing on a smaller phone. And my final minor complaint, some of the cars are mismatched with the pictures. For example, the 1998 Mercedes A160 has a second-gen 2005 on the card for the picture. There are others too like the Cadillac Eldorado etc. but overall, GREAT game, I’m hooked.
Slalom Test Needs Work
Anon12121
The slalom test needs a touch up. The entirety of the slalom test is a variable in which it is quite literally impossible to predict the outcome of the race if the stats of the two cars are closely comparable. I have seen on multiple occasions now in which my car will have a lower 0-60 but worse handling by a couple points and I will lose the race and on the flip side of things I have seen the AI have a lower 0-60 and worse handling but win the race. How does this even make sense. Mind you in both situations the 0-60 time is only slightly better. It almost feels as though the AI is given the benefit in either case. In order to guarantee success I have to best the AI car’s handling by the minimum of 5 points and even then I cannot be certain as the times are within fractions of a second of each other. In comparison to other races where you can ensure victory by having your car’s stats best the AI’s by only a couple points, slalom’s seemingly RNG nature is frustrating to put it simply. Not to mention that after losing and consulting the “Race Info”, the reason is always a spit in the face as it has the audacity to label the AI’s victory as one based off having better handling/0-60 stats even in cases where the stats are the exact same providing no useful information. In summary, the slalom test appears to have no real basis of which a victory is decided in cases where the stats between both cars are comparable but seems to favor the AI and the “Race Info” summary gives no useful information in such circumstances.
Major update has ruined my game
Sonic is beast!!!!!!!!!!!!
The new update has only seemed to have brought 1 or 2 good things here and there, yet everything else has been bad. First of all, they switched a ton of the cars that were decent from the green and blue ranks up to yellows and reds. Not only do you lose all the work and upgrades you put into your cars that move up a rank, the tens and thousands of dollars (game dollars) of work, the hours and hours of playing, and take it away, not even changing anything but a few cars stats ( there weren’t even that many cars that actually had a stat change), but the only compensation they give you is just some measly upgrades for the mediocre cars that are left in the previous rank. For example, I had an off road rally car, previously yellow rank, and moved up to red. Literally one point up, from 49 to 50. Nothing was changed about the stats of the car, just moved up one single point. Not only did all the work I’ve put into that car get taken away by making it stock once more, but all they give me is upgrades for the yellow cars, even though the only few I care about already have been maxed out. I would’ve loved if I could’ve had a warning to this, so I could actually prepare for top drives to take all my stuff, and I wouldn’t spend all my in game cash right before they take it away. The least they could’ve done is keep the upgrades on the cars that moved up ranks. Especially the ones that weren’t even changed stat-wise
Developer Response
Hello! Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry you were unsatisfied with the 15.0 update. The premise of the tokens system was that we didn’t want you to lose value where a car you invested lots of resources in has gone down in rarity, or for anyone to gain an unfair advantage where a car they upgraded when it was cheap to do so has gone up in rarity. You certainly haven't lost anything in the process - the value was returned in the form of tokens.
A fun twist on card games
DJ FreeNoMo'
Great game. Different from other card battle games due to the emphasis on collecting and improving cards in a race themed environment. Updated Jan 17: dropped a star for the reason below: this is now the 4th event asking for the same Volkswagen card needed to play. This is the only game I actually spend money playing and the required car is not available to purchase. So no playing the challenge for the next 4 days. Odd that any game forces you not to play and to have it happen 4 times in 5 months seems like a major error on the developer’s part. You’d think they would want us to be able to log in and play and not keep you out of the game. I’ve been playing for a few months now and really enjoy it. My only complaint is I am now in the third event in the past several months that requires you to have a 1966 Volkswagen To participate, yet I have had no luck in acquiring this card via any events or by purchasing. I can’t understand why this specific car has been needed so often, yet it is so difficult to acquire. It’s a low level card/car and if you don’t have it, you need to wait until the event is over to be able to play the game. Why any developer would make a game that purposely forces you to not be able to play for several days is a fail in my opinion and should warrant a lower star count, but the game is still great and worth playing. At least give us the option to purchase the car to keep people involved in the game play or don’t make it dependent on such a specific car so often. That’s a sure fire way to get people to quit playing.
The Crown Pursuit escalates in Rogue Agents. Threat levels rise, alliances fracture, and drivers no longer play by the Agency's rules.
