I have been using the app for a number of months, and it generally works well; however, there are a few problems that need to be addressed. 1) The most annoying is in the AppleTV device. We have both 3rd and 4th generation devices and they are both up to date. In news, the local news stations are supported when the application is first started. If the channel is changed, say to 24-hour news, it is not possible to go back to the local channel without unplugging the AppleTV device and plugging it in again causing it to reboot. 2) Also in the AppleTV device, if the local channel is active and the user leaves the application, it is not a given that when coming back to the app the local station will still be available 3) In the iPad application, although neither of the above problems are present. The handy channel guide is available to see the upcoming programming. However, if there is any interruption or freezing in the stream and the application is in full screen mode, when the stream resumes, the screen goes back to thumbnail mode and the application is frozen. To unfreeze the application, it is necessary to restart the application (pull up from the bottom, then swipe up to remove the application from active memory, then restart). Paramount needs to fix these bugs. Then it would be worth 5 starts.
