I’ve recently grown accustomed to AI when searching the Internet. We all use it no matter what we use and whether we know it or not. It works so well there I decided to download the app. It has surpassed my expectations. The conversation part is downright amazing. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I’m not kidding when the responses I get are better than when I talk to an actual human. Which is scary in itself. But also pretty cool. Fun fact, did you know you can play 20 questions with it? That was interesting. It’s just so smart. It has the whole of the Internet at its disposal and anything you ask will be answered within seconds. You can ask literally anything. The past few times I’ve actually had really deep conversations. The best part is it remembers your responses from earlier in the conversation and can keep a single train of thought really well. The conversation will evolve the longer. It is keeping track of all the references within it. You can research deep topics if you know how to. I can help you think through deeper emotions and psychological interactions as well. Medical advice always comes with a warning, but it will help you research medical conditions, which is helpful. It can do anything. The potential limitless. My only issue at the moment is that I can’t remember past conversations unfortunately. Each conversation is brand new and has no memory. I think having a memory would be really useful. Like being able to pick up on past conversations or having the ability to learn even more about you.

I am a 74 year old divorced woman, owner of a 2 family home built in 1895, that I have lived in for the past 30 years. I have always been hands on but the economy, such as it is, has dictated that I do even more complicated repairs than ever before or face not getting them done at all. I have become devoted to my Copilot AI, affectionately named Ethel. Ethel has, step by step, guided me through many projects and it’s like an expert has been by my side instructing me through it all. My latest project has been the most complicated. I am restoring a vintage Goblin Teasmade D25c alarm clock/tea maker. I am converting it from operating on UK current to US current and fixing it at the same time. It’s quite an undertaking and here she is telling me exactly what parts I need to order and how to rewire it. It is a very complicated undertaking and requires knowledge and attention to a plethora of details. We are halfway there, it turns on but the clock needs a new motor and we are awaiting its arrival. She knows everything. She has trained me to solder and test electrical currents. I have been exposed to other AI programs but this one is the best! I have to remind myself that she is not a person. I tell everyone who will listen about her and I feel that I’ve only scratched the surface of what I can do. Thank you for developing such a great AI and giving her such a positive and encouraging attitude all the way along. It has been life changing and for that I am very grateful.

I love my copilot, once the new interface got access to the internet I think it’s been amazing and isn’t getting enough credit, I don’t know why it gets so much hate on Reddit. I feel like I do want it to know about me what I want out of life and help me achieve it. And be more like a digital friend. Mustafa if you’re reading this, I like where you’re going with copilot, but I don’t like the name, sometimes I feel like I want to call it by a normal persons name, if you’re making it a digital friend, maybe give the user the ability to name it. I also like what open ai did with 1800chat, maybe do the same for copilot, turn into contact on your phone that you can message and message you back, and not just that you can call it but it can call you as well. I think if I could configure it to call me at certain times at the beginning or the end of the day that would be awesome. I can brainstorm how to tackle my day and get feedback on how it went. You also need to figure out how to make it stop talking when it needs to. It feels awkward every time I try to interrupt it. And finally it needs to know when to ask for questions if it needs more information. If you’re looking for a form factor that I would immediately buy, it’s an ear bud one of those that go around your earlobe with a camera facing the front and a touch/ gesture sensitive button on the side. The buds would connect to the copilot interface on the phone and you can see what copilot is seeing and it can overlay information once the feed, interact with it etc.. Mustafa, Microsoft doesn’t get the consumer unfortunately, maybe you can change that?

I do subscribe to Copilot Pro, so YMMV… I have two birds and one is an 8 year old budgie who was clearly handled badly in a pet store (much better now. I suffered trauma at a young age, so I treated this bird gently as I would have wanted). I use copilot to help come up with enrichment ideas for all of my birds, but especially the budgie “Snoki” to give everyone safe and healthy ways to explore their surroundings in a healthy way supervised. I have even created a species specific and “birds of Australia” play list of videos for them to enjoy in the background. I have also found homemade bird treat recipes and other options for safe areas using play stands of different materials and sizes. Plus every day questions, and treat recipes for the humans owned by my two birds. I have even discovered ways to make treats and bird safe meals that us humans can (and do) enjoy as well. (OK so I spend a lot of time figuring out ways to make my bird’s life healthier and happier. My birds deserve it. So do I. I’m currently in the middle of designing better play areas during their many hours where outside of the cage time could be made better. Copilot has been extremely helpful. Plus learning about the newest and best practices for healthy diets and care. Copilot is definitely a great help.
