Have been using Viu premium for almost 2 years and has been satisfied with it until these recent months. I used to turn off mobile data for the app so when I’m outside I can watch my downloaded shows but recently the app started to use my mobile data even when it’s disabled in settings? The app also hangs very frequently; esp after watching my downloaded videos, the next time I open the app it hangs and I have to close and open it again. It’s even worse on tv, keeps showing network error and some shows load but some doesn’t? Have to open and close the app several times for it to work. The most annoying is how one episode doesn’t load but the next one is okay? Might reconsider renewing my premium membership if this carries on

Been subscribing to Viu for 2 years and recently it has been frustrating to use the app. I am unable to cast the program to my TV through Chrome cast (no issues in the past) and was told Viu is working on it. With the recent update of the app, I thought it would have solve the problem. Still, it did not. Few months have passed and I really wonder how much more time it's required to work on this. Investment and speed in technology is important especially when it comes to offering services to users. As a business, you need to prioritise and fix what is necessary especially when you have received umpteen feedback from others before me. Pls fix this soon.

App itself is OK, no complaints. However chromecast doesn’t work on iPhone, I’m able to connect & cast but the connection keeps dropping. Only way to bypass this is downloading the episode on my iPhone and cast from there, and even that doesn’t work all the time. I’m only able to cast via iPad.Would be good if we can download 1 whole season of episodes at the same time via 1 button, or at least not need to click on every single episode to download episodes. It is tedious!Would love if you guys could diversify more & bring on Taiwanese dramas (recent and airing)! There is a huge market in SG for it :)

First of all, they assume everyone uses smart TV. I downloaded the app on Mi TV stick and yet, the message said my device is not compatible with the app. Next, I connect my phone to my tv and monitor using Apple AV adaptor, and the size didn’t display correctly, and I had to keep my phone screen turned on the whole time. I didn’t have such issue at all on Netflix and Apple TV, they made it easier to continue the series too. For Viu, I had to use the search box all the time. To add on, when playing a drama series, I had to scroll all the way down to play episode 1, it doesn’t continue to the next episode when I restart the app again. It is so draining, going to cancel the premium membership for sure.
