Great app for studies and just any writings

Note taking is the main reason that I bought an IPad. GoodNotes is the app that I decided to use as I liked the way it organises the files. Have been using it for 2 years now and I really love it! With the community function, I can also look at others’ notes which is really helpful.I like the favourite function which allows me to save some important pages of a PDF. But was just wondering if the team could add a function for us to name to page when adding it as favourite? This will allow us to remember haha why we added it and it would super helpful! I know that the adding toe outlines function has this option for now, but sometimes I have to add pages as favourites since I don’t want mess up the original outlines . Thank you!
Awesome app but battery-draining…

I have been absolutely loving GoodNotes, truly the best note-taking app I have ever used. However, I write to express my concern about how the app has taken me by surprise today. I left my iPad idle for 6-7 hours, without killing the GoodNotes app running in the background. When I returned to my iPad which had been undisturbed and locked, I was shocked to discover that it felt hot, and the battery level was now at 4%, even though it was at 90% before I left it alone. I checked the battery consumption in settings, because this has never happened for any other app before including games that would otherwise drain battery significantly while playing, and it had stated that GoodNotes had consumed 84% of my battery life. This is quite disappointing and inconveniencing. For this I hope you can improve the app’s battery consumption as there really should not be this much drainage from an app that is not being used actively. Otherwise, I thank you for its good functionality and hope you can continue to update and make it even more amazing.
Possible improvements I hope to see

I really love the app and it’s been really good for taking notes. I wish that when I circle my text or an image I can choose for it to be behind or above my text. When I write something and place an image, it covers up my text but I want to be able to choose whether it should go above or behind my other layers. It also applies to highlighter cause if I write something and highlight it after, the text actually gets darker, similar to being covered by the layer of highlighter. Also for the colour wheel I was hoping if there can be a tool that allows me to detect/copy other colours in the note that I’ve already used so that I can get the exact same shade of color to continue writing my notes cause I pick random colours occasionally and don’t save them (kind of like the Instagram colour tool thing). Additionally I really hope that the lasso tool can be used to select both writing and highlighter cause I may only want to move the highlighter around but not my writing. But overall I really do like the app and it’s been very productive for my learning.
