How does the Promova Premium work:
We offer monthly, 6-month, and annual subscription plans. Currently, a 7-day free trial is available for an annual Premium subscription only. If you are happy with Promova's features, after this period, you will be automatically charged the full price of the chosen Premium plan, which was indicated on a payment screen during checkout.
If you want to cancel the free trial or your current Premium subscription, please make sure to do this at least 24 hours before the end of the current payment period. Otherwise, you will automatically be charged a price according to a chosen Premium plan. To manage your subscription, please go to the Apple Account Settings. Please keep in mind that deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Also, please pay attention that Promova has mobile and web versions that are connected. Therefore, if you purchased the subscription on the web and do not see the current subscription in your Apple Account Settings, please go to your Promova Account (mobile or web version) > My purchases > Payments & subscriptions > Cancel subscription.
When a subscription is canceled, access to the app's courses and features will expire at the end of the current payment period.

I like the graphical interface and the fact there are useful words to learn however this app has some limitations that made me decide to stop using once my license expires- it lacks the ability of suggesting what words I still need to practice remembering. I would like to have possibility to mark the words that I still didn’t learn well enough and then be encouraged to repeat the same until I marked them again as learned. Otherwise it is impossible to just remember it all just during one session. The next day I am not able to use the words in practice .

Too many mistakes

Don’t get me wrong, I love the idea of your app, I am a premium user and all and I think it could be a great tool for learning English, but… And that’s a big “but” ;) There are sooooo many mistakes in translation (PL-EN) that it can be quite frustrating. Maybe try to invest in a proper interpreter? If it’s supposed to be a learning experience, then it should be perfectly prepared and checked by professionals. Especially if you charge for it ;)

Mistakes in Polish translation

the app looks cool but some of the translations sound stupid and some are unacceptable. Mistakes visible already in the first lesson, for example: break the leg = złam nogę. Nobody tells like that in Poland. That sounds more like a threat, not a wish for happiness. We say "połamania nóg" to wish luck in this meaning. There are more stupid translations. I think you need to hire some professional Polish - English translator before you charge money for this app because sometimes it looks like a google translate really. Id rather choose Busuu for now and I hope my opinion will be useful.

Scam or organizational mess

Word Booster continued to charge my bill after canceling my Apple Store subscription. After contacting customer support, I heard that I had purchased another subscription on their website. I don't remember making any subscription via the website, and the invoice that I would normally expect in this case was never sent. To get a refund, I was instructed to provide them with proof of using the app and make a 7-day streak, which sounds ridiculous. Fortunately, I contacted PayPal and was able to get a part of my money back. I've never had such a problem with any other app.
