I love the new Overcast’s design

I am using this app since a few years it and overall the redesign is great. With every next update it’s getting better and better. I love the possibility to show just the plain list of podcasts with new episodes.One thing that was uncomfortable in use is currently played episode screen - initially I had rough time to get used to the new navigation paths (chapters, voice boost, etc.), but after a month it’s as easy to use as in the old designs.

The app itself is pretty much perfect. Offers unparalleled options for seeking, noise leveling, acceleration, playlist creation. It gets all the most important basics right. The only reason why you'd even consider anything else is if you need cross platform support. This app is iOS only and the web interface for browser listening is mediocre.But if you don't mind if your podcasts live only on iOS devices, this app is an obvious choice.

I’ve used this app for years and I can’t imagine living without it. Since last year’s redesign, the pace of development has improved and the app keeps getting nice updates. You can use it for free, but I’m paying and I don’t regret it. It’s totally worth every penny.
- Transcripts! (Many more transcript features coming in the future, too. Gotta start somewhere, though!)
- Fixed bugs that could cause background termination
