The app shows you the gate number in advance, which is cool, but not really something crazy. Other than that, the app seems to serve practically no purpose. Doesn't show you the flying speed, unlike other apps that get it based on GPS when you're sitting close to a window (I was, twice). Doesn't account for real takeoff time (which could, in my opinion, even be considered as the moment when you turn on airplane mode); my first flight was slightly "delayed" due to de-icing, and the app completely lost track of everything, and did so again when my return flight was actually delayed by about 30 minutes. The flight routes were just straight lines between cities (which don't even make much sense on a globe, and the app does not appear to be using any flat map projection), and not in any way related to past routes that can be replayed in other apps. And, on top of that, the pay-as-you-go subscription is $5 A WEEK while lifetime access costs $300! That's ridiculous. I don't think there is any reason to use this app.
