After almost 10 years of playing and one maxed deck only to show for it. That means I have no choice but to play with the same 8 cards for eternity. Dares to change the deck, play around with the meta, or adapt to balance changes? Well, too bad you are immediately under-leveled and punished. This isn't strategy anymore; it's just pay-to-win advancement camouflaged as a competitive game.Just think about it. The new player will be totally frustrated to the point of quitting. If someone with nine years of experience can barely max anything, how on earth is a newbie catching up without shelling out incredible amounts of money? The divide between the rich and poor players continues to widen, while the latter's progression keeps getting slower, and they have to spend more.To add fuel to the fire, Supercell is deaf to the players' voices. The community has been bringing forward complaints over a shortage of gold, high card levels, and unfair matchmaking for years now. As a compensation, instead of resolving the main issues, we are offered more monetization, more walls in the name of progression, and changes that are favorable to the big spenders while the rest fall behind.Clash Royale has lost its charm of being a game that tests your skills, creativity, and ability to mix and match decks. Now it’s all about who has paid more and whose cards are at a higher level. The game still has a fun core, but the progression system is such that it spoils everything. If 9 years of playing has made the game feel this bad, then I honestly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone new.
